Read more Without a doubt, this is one of the best repair shops around. I drive an aging Saab, an east coast car, with all of the rust, frozen nuts and bolts, and other scars from years of exposure to road salt. After receiving an estimate for pads and rotors, sway bar links, and bushings that exceeded my budget, I decided to do the work myself with parts ordered from Rock Auto. The brakes went relatively smoothly, but a pair of stubborn bolts on the passenger-side sway bar link, lack of an air gun, and too many hours of toil forced me to give up and call Hotchkiss. Christi was fabulous! She told me Hotchkiss would be willing to remove the stubborn, rusted sway bar link and rear bushings and replace them with parts I had ordered from Rock Auto. The charge would be for labor only with the caveat that the work would not be under warranty because the shop would not be supplying the parts. When the tech removed rear bushings, he discovered that the originals were in fine shape and would not require replacement. I walked away with a new front sway bar link, no charge for the labor on the rear bushings, and a bill under $50. This is a first class, honest business.
