I happen to stumble across Hotchkiss through Yelp, since they had the best reviews on there, and I can see why! This place is AWESOME!! I was already blown away from their hospitality— since it seems that almost every mechanic shop always has a negative attitude about them. The people at Hotchkiss were positive all the time and very transparent! Jasmine was the one who took care of my issues. My favorite thing about this place is the visual profile they give you if your vehicle. They send you a link that breaks down everything WITH images of your car and an explanation. No more trying to figure out if a mechanic is really telling you the truth! They even pointed out that I needed something I wasn’t aware of (with proof of course). These folks aren’t here for a quick buck or and drama. They are so nice to every customer and deserve all the recognition! No wonder they have a reputation for being the neighborhood favorite! They have won themselves a very loyal customer and I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

Hotchkiss has been nothing short of amazing to work with! I have had some major issues with my car and with a Goodyear dealership in Golden, trying to service my battery and alternator, and after multiple trips to the Goodyear, I came here and then the following year when I had the same issue with warranted parts at the Goodyear, I have officially come back to Hotchkiss full-time because I know that they can actually tell me what’s wrong and fix it. I’ve worked with Kyle almost every time and he is so great and thorough with their findings not to mention their inspection and estimate process and online review portal is like no other. They take pictures of every single thing that they inspect and rate it based on urgency of the issue And will explain to you what needs immediate attention what should probably be looked at soon and some things to just keep an eye out for down the line. I’ve recommended so many friends to them and they have all had great experiences as well! I definitely don’t love taking my car in at all, especially all the way down in Colfax, but they make it worth it!

Hotchkiss Auto Repair has become my new go-to shop! I desperately needed new brakes during the holidays and they were able to get me an appointment within a couple days. They fully inspected my car and also found I needed a new driving belt and new filters. They replaced all of it and installed new brakes for a very reasonable price. I was able to pick my car up the morning after I dropped it off at the shop and the main guy I worked with, Kyle, was so good about texting me to keep me in the loop on the work that had to be done. My car is now driving so smoothly. Kyle even texted me the following week to check in and make sure I was happy with my car after the repairs. No other shop has ever done that. I'll definitely be returning to Hotchkiss for any future repairs.

Tara helped me out immensely! I needed service (more than I like to admit) and she was able to fit me in on a Saturday. In the past the work was thorough and well done. I know that I can depend on Hotchkiss and Tara for future help.
